To meet the needs of our students we offer two great teacher training programs that will qualify you to teach English, whether you are planning to do so in your home country or in Canada or travel the world and teach.

International House Toronto offers a TESL Canada Diploma program, certified by TESL Canada, for those with English as their native language or those with a high level of proficiency of the English Language. The Program requires students to have a university degree in addition to the application process required by IH Toronto.

IH Toronto also offers a TESOL Certificate Course for those without a university degree or for students with a lower level of English proficiency. This program is ideal for native English speakers looking for some formal training and perhaps considering teaching abroad. It is also a great program for non-native students thinking about teaching English in their home countries.
